Art is our medium to co-create in community and bring more awareness of the importance of peace, climate justice, holistic wellness, and the interconnectivity that embraces our humanity in our daily lives. This interconnection is essential for our region because we all share the land and the environment with humans and non-humans.

The purpose of these workshops is to offer a safe space for BIPOC, Queer and Allies to contribute to their wellness and self-care. Through guided imagery, meaningful conversations and art experiential activities, participants will be able to better understand the importance of self-care and their psychological resources to support their overall quality of life and well-being.
Research shows that the process of art-making can assist in overcoming many personal challenges, be a valuable tool while managing stress, help in the healing process, foster self-worth, and be a way of connecting with others. Art Therapy sessions will offer different kinds of art media and promote mindfulness while bring more awareness of the importance of peace, climate justice, holistic wellness, and planetary health. We hope to create positive change, one art piece at a time!
