Danielle Lebeau Petersen spent her formative years in Victoria, Canada. Growing up with both parents working as professional musicians paved the way for her deeply rooted foundation and love for music.
Adventurous at heart, Danielle has lived in Montreal twice, seeking out French- Canadian music and culture. After completing a diploma in Jazz studies in Victoria at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, Danielle spent a summer in Nashville TN as an artist in residence, honing her love of songwriting.
Danielle has also worked internationally at sea on boutique cruise ships, having been an Assistant Cruise Director, and part of a small, hand-picked entertainment team with Seabourn Cruise Lines.
Over the Summer of 2019, Danielle performed in Jasper, Alberta, in a residency there for 4 months. She loves to play her own original material, as well as interpret well-known covers in her own way.
Since its inception in 2017, Danielle has been a co-conductor and producer of Court & Spark, a community choir. She and her mother Connie write the choral arrangements, hold weekly rehearsals and produce concerts, all of which are built on a strong tradition of pop music throughout the ages.
During the Covid19 pandemic has occurred, Danielle has found a variety of ways to continue performing, including live streaming performances as well as delivering singing telegrams from a safe distance. Danielle has also been teaching as well as taking music lessons virtually, including rehearsing her choir. Find examples of her work on Facebook under her own name.
