Share your pandemic care home experiences with BC’s Seniors Advocate
The BC Seniors Advocate has taken to the air waves to urge BCers to participate in a survey that explores the impact on seniors living with the visit restrictions in long-term and assisted living facilities that have been required in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey will ask you some questions about your visits before the pandemic; how often you visited, or if you are a resident, how often you received a visitor.
The survey seeks input on: What type of activities you did during the visits and what the health and well being of residents was like; your experience when the visit restrictions were mandated; your ideas and suggestions as both residents and family members on improvements needed; and , whether the system has achieved the right balance between risk and the need to find a way to live through this pandemic for the next year or so.
Take the time to consider what has happened to you and your loved ones over the past months, note the pertinent information, then, take the survey.
You have until Sept. 3oth to complete the survey. Make your voice heard.
